Dementia
About Course
PDF Course
Three main topics—”the brain,” “the illnesses,” and “the person”—make up the bulk of this course’s structure. Basic brain anatomy, pathology, dementia research, risk factors, distinguishing normal ageing from dementia, diagnosis, medical management, living with dementia, progression and staging, palliation, behavioural and psychological symptoms, therapeutic approaches, dementia friendly communities, and more are all discussed.
Eighteen neuroscientists, health scientists, doctors, dementia care providers, and persons living with dementia provide the content.
Video lessons, games, scenarios, and quizzes will all be available to encourage student participation and further understanding of the concepts presented. In addition, they will have the chance to connect with people all around the world in an online dementia support group.
